Privacy policy

Tincube ("we") respects your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process through the website www.tincube.nl, why we do so and what rights you have. Our products (MyBookConnector, MyEcomConnector and MyPuzzleBookGenerator) each have their own privacy policy on their own website; that policy applies as soon as you create an account there or use the software.

Who is responsible

Tincube is the data controller for the data processed through this website. Our contact details and Chamber of Commerce number are listed at the bottom of this page. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@tincube.nl.

What data we process and why

Contact form. When you fill in the contact form we process your name, email address, subject and message in order to answer your question. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your request, or the performance of a contract if your question concerns one. We keep submissions for a maximum of two years after they have been handled, unless a statutory retention period is longer.

Security and abuse. When you submit the form we temporarily record your IP address to prevent spam and abuse (at most three submissions per hour per address). Legal basis: legitimate interest. This record is deleted after a short period.

Website statistics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used (pages visited, referrer, device and which product links are clicked). The data is processed by Google under the EU standard contractual clauses. We do not share data with Google for advertising purposes and do not use advertising cookies. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, time, requested page and browser type to keep the site secure and available. These logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

Cookies

The website sets functional cookies that are needed for the site to work, and analytics cookies from Google Analytics. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working.

Who we share data with

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): hosting of the website and the database, within the EU.

• Google Ireland Ltd.: website statistics (Google Analytics 4).

• Our email and helpdesk providers: only to deliver your message to us and to answer it.

We never sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We sign a data processing agreement with suppliers that process data on our behalf. Data outside the European Economic Area is only processed with appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Security

The website is only available over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the administration area and the database is restricted to Tincube and protected with strong passwords and lock-out after failed login attempts.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest and to receive your data in a common file format. Send your request to info@tincube.nl; we respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

We may update this statement, for example when the website or the law changes. The date at the top indicates the latest version.
